Procurement & Inventory Officer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and organized Procurement & Inventory Officer to join the operations team of a fast‑growing multi‑market company. The role is the single point of ownership for purchasing, inventory control and kitchen administration at assigned satellite kitchens, ensuring that ingredients, packaging and consumables are available when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Source, negotiate and place purchase orders with approved suppliers for ingredients, packaging and consumables.
• Maintain day‑to‑day supplier relationships, follow up on orders, deliveries, quality issues and shortages.
• Track procurement spend against budget, flag cost variances and unusual purchasing patterns.
• Own stock accuracy by conducting regular counts and reconciling with system records.
• Set and monitor appropriate par levels, apply FIFO discipline to minimise waste and spoilage.
• Coordinate order intake, production flow and delivery alongside the kitchen team.
• Maintain kitchen administrative records such as goods received notes, supplier invoices and stock logs.
• Work with Packing & Dispatch to align supply availability with the daily order pipeline.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience in procurement, inventory management, purchasing or kitchen administration.
• Previous experience in food production, hospitality or a fast‑paced operational environment.
• Hands‑on experience with supplier management, purchase order processes and budget tracking.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

• Advanced use of spreadsheets for tracking and reporting.
