Product Planning Officer (Automotive)

About the role

Almana Group is hiring a Product Planning Officer in Doha to support the planning and management of its vehicle product portfolio. The role covers market research, competitor analysis, product positioning, pricing, vehicle specifications and ordering, and works closely with manufacturers and internal departments to keep products competitive and profitable.

Key responsibilities

• Market research and competitive intelligence: track trends, customer preferences and competitor models, and prepare benchmarking and comparison reports.
• Product portfolio management: maintain up-to-date specifications, trims, options, configurations and product codes, and coordinate with OEM product teams.
• Pricing and profitability: prepare vehicle cost builds, run competitor pricing analysis, prepare selling price proposals and review pricing for new models and model years.
• Vehicle ordering and OEM coordination: prepare forward order plans, place and amend orders, monitor production status and resolve order issues.
• Sales forecasting and inventory: maintain annual, monthly and rolling forecasts, monitor stock coverage and aging stock, and track the vehicle pipeline.
• Product information management: keep product data, catalogs and price lists accurate and consistent across systems and departments.
• New model introduction and product lifecycle: follow OEM roadmaps and support the launch, configuration and rollout of new models and variants.
