Project Controls Division Manager – Qatar

About the role

We are seeking a Project Controls Division Manager to lead the planning, scheduling and cost‑control functions for a major oil‑and‑gas project in Qatar. The role is based on‑site in Doha (Ras Laffan) and will run for a 36‑month fixed‑term contract.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain project control procedures, guidelines and flow‑charts to support management decision‑making.
• Lead scheduling, planning, reporting, change‑order cost estimating and cost‑engineering activities across the project.
• Coordinate inputs from engineering, construction and procurement teams and ensure contractor compliance with schedule and progress monitoring standards.
• Interface with Senior Project Manager, Business Manager and EPC contractor on cost and schedule performance, approvals and reporting.
• Implement and update the Project Control Plan and Management of Change processes.
• Collect, consolidate, analyse and report cost and schedule data, identifying trends and potential issues.
• Review project changes for cost and schedule impact and incorporate approved changes into overall reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in project management, engineering, construction or procurement within the oil & gas industry.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience on a major oil‑and‑gas project.
• Proven ability to manage all phases of project execution, from start‑up to hand‑over.
