Project Coordinator (Qatarization)

About the role

The Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager/Section Head of the Strategic PMO in delivering bank‑wide strategic and operational projects. The role focuses on administrative assistance, documentation, data gathering, and coordination with stakeholders to ensure projects stay on schedule and align with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update project control tools, schedules, deliverables, dependencies, milestones, and change‑control databases.
• Assist in defining time‑bound objectives and quantifiable indicators for each project.
• Identify, record, and track critical project issues and develop action plans for mitigation.
• Document strategic alignment of projects with corporate goals and process integration.
• Prepare and maintain communications, dashboards, status reports, resource forecasts, and budget updates for management and stakeholders.
• Support the adoption of up‑to‑date project management techniques, industry best practices, and relevant tools.
• Gather data on system and process interrelationships across functions to aid priority decisions.
• Help manage financial aspects of projects, including budget formulation, cost projections, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Monitor project progress, indicators, resource constraints, and timeline adherence, and flag schedule or resource conflicts.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance or a related field.
• Experience supporting project managers in a banking or financial services environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work proactively in a fast‑paced, multi‑project setting.
