Project Engineer – Highways Structures O&M

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Project Engineer to support the Structures Manager in overseeing inspection and maintenance of bridges and highway structures across Doha, Qatar. The role focuses on ensuring safety, structural integrity and serviceability in line with contractual Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance for bridges, footbridges, flyovers, tunnels, culverts, retaining walls, gantries and related assets.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs and KPIs, eliminating quality failures.
• Manage daily utilisation of in‑house and subcontractor staff, reducing waste and maintaining consistency.
• Use the MAXIMO Asset Management System to create, track and close work orders and service requests efficiently.
• Support the Structures Manager in client meetings, stakeholder engagement and delivery of project milestones.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as traffic management, lighting, pavement, HSE and others to ensure integrated network operations.

Required profile

• Experience in bridge and highway structure inspection and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of contractual SLAs/KPIs in infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage both internal teams and subcontractors.
• Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MAXIMO asset management software.
