Project Manager – Food Waste Recycling Facility

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced local Project Manager to lead the development of a government‑approved Food Waste Recycling and Bioplastic Production Facility in Doha. The role covers the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning through construction, commissioning and hand‑over to operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and control project scope, schedule and resources to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee commissioning activities and guarantee a smooth transition from construction to operational status.
• Coordinate with the Ministry, contractors, consultants and internal management to align expectations.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety and technical standards throughout the project.
• Build, lead and mentor a multidisciplinary project team.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of industrial project management experience, including at least 5 years in commissioning large‑scale facilities.
• Experience in waste‑management or bioplastics projects is preferred.
• PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Previous experience working in the GCC region is advantageous.
