Projects Coordinator – Institute for Population Health

About the role

We are seeking a Projects Coordinator to support the Institute for Population Health (IPH) at Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar. The role provides high‑level administrative and research assistance to the Director and the Population Health and Communications Specialist, ensuring smooth execution of projects and initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate new project initiatives, conduct literature reviews, and prepare research reports.
• Support the organization of educational seminars, workshops, and presentations, including travel and itinerary planning for guests.
• Collect, compile, and manage medium to large data sets; maintain databases and generate customized reports.
• Initiate and process purchase requisitions, reconcile invoices, and manage expense reimbursements in line with WCM‑Q financial policies.
• Liaise with staff and faculty across WCM‑Q, Hamad Medical Corporation, Ministry of Public Health, and other partner sites.
• Provide cross‑coverage for IPH team members to ensure continuity of research projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar coordination or administrative role.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong customer service orientation and ability to work independently in a cross‑cultural environment.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
