QAQC Inspector - Civil & Infrastructure Works

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time QAQC Inspector in Doha to inspect civil and infrastructure works such as roads, drainage, foul sewers, utilities, concrete and roadworks. The inspector prepares inspection requests, checks work against approved documents, monitors materials and tests, and follows up on non-conformances.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect civil and infrastructure works and prepare Inspection Notification Requests (INRs) for client/consultant approval.
• Verify works against approved shop drawings, method statements and ITPs.
• Monitor material sampling, laboratory testing and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain inspection reports, test certificates and quality documentation.
• Identify non-conformances, issue NCRs and follow up until closure.
• Liaise with site engineers, consultants and subcontractors to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications, codes and client requirements, and enforce QHSE standards during inspections.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC inspection experience on civil/infrastructure projects.
• Valid Qatar government project approvals.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs and international codes (ACI, ASTM, BS, ISO).
• Certifications preferred: ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems and Concrete & Materials Testing certification.
