QA/QC Inspector – Road & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The QA/QC Inspector ensures that road, highway and infrastructure construction activities meet Ashghal specifications and international quality standards. Working closely with the QA GEC Supervision team, the role supports WSP International’s reputation for delivering high‑quality projects in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections of construction works, including roads, highways and related infrastructure, to verify compliance with Ashghal specifications and project quality plans.
• Perform material testing and analysis to ensure adherence to international standards and project‑specific requirements.
• Document inspection results, test data and non‑conformities, providing detailed reports to the project team.
• Monitor construction progress, identify potential quality issues and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with project engineers, contractors and stakeholders to maintain a unified quality control approach.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection activities and quality‑related documentation for audits.
• Provide timely feedback and recommendations to improve construction processes and enhance client satisfaction.
• Stay updated with the latest industry standards, regulations and best practices in road and infrastructure construction.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in QA/QC inspection for road and infrastructure projects.
• In‑depth knowledge of Ashghal specifications and relevant international standards.
• Proficiency in using inspection equipment, testing instruments and data‑analysis software.
• Strong analytical abilities to identify and address quality issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
• Valid driving licence with willingness to travel to construction sites.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with construction management software is preferred.
• Professional certification in QA/QC inspection or a related field is an advantage.
