Recruitment Officer – Oil & Gas & Diversified Business

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Officer to lead end‑to‑end hiring for Oil & Gas projects and a range of diversified business units in Qatar. The role involves sourcing, screening, interviewing and mobilising candidates across technical, engineering, corporate and support functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle from requisition to onboarding for engineering, construction, maintenance, HSE, operations and project support roles.
• Source candidates via job portals, social media, agencies, networking and internal databases.
• Conduct initial screenings, interviews and assessments, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
• Verify qualifications, certifications and employment history; maintain recruitment trackers and reports.
• Coordinate visa processing, mobilisation and onboarding activities in compliance with Qatar Labour Law.
• Build talent pipelines, negotiate compensation packages and prepare offers.
• Develop relationships with recruitment agencies, universities and industry networks; represent the company at career fairs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of recruitment experience in Qatar, with proven Oil & Gas recruitment background.
• Strong knowledge of technical and engineering positions and Qatar labour regulations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and ability to work under pressure.
• Valid Qatar ID with transferable visa preferred; Arabic language skills an advantage.

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with HR/Recruitment software.
