Recruitment Specialist – IT & Technical Hiring

About the role

BSL is looking for an experienced Recruitment Specialist to own end‑to‑end IT and technical hiring across its contracts in Qatar. The role is hands‑on and delivery‑focused, requiring the ability to manage a high volume of requisitions, source passive talent, and build robust pipelines that meet tight, time‑sensitive client timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute direct sourcing strategies, headhunting, market mapping, networking and referral programs to attract passive technical candidates locally, regionally and internationally.
• Maintain live, active pipelines aligned with forecasted demand, not just open requisitions.
• Serve as the primary trusted contact for hiring managers, providing proactive updates on progress, risk and market conditions.
• Screen and assess candidates against technical and competency criteria, coordinate interviews and manage the candidate experience.
• Work with rate cards and contract margins from the outset to inform sourcing and candidate targeting.
• Escalate rate‑expectation gaps early and propose alternative structures.
• Support offer negotiation, security clearance, onboarding and mobilization.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records in Zoho Recruit in real time and ensure compliance with labor laws and BSL standards.
• Contribute market intelligence, salary benchmarking and talent availability insights for workforce planning.
• Identify opportunities to expand BSL’s footprint within existing contracts.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple technical vacancies simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with hiring managers and ability to provide honest market updates.
• Deep understanding of commercial models, contract margins and rate‑card structures.
• Ability to anticipate pipeline risk and act as a trusted advisor.
