About the role

The Recruitment Specialist will provide end‑to‑end recruiting services for assigned business areas, ensuring high‑quality talent is delivered quickly and cost‑effectively. Working within the HIA Talent Acquisition Department, the role supports managers with professional guidance throughout the hiring process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute proactive recruitment plans aligned with departmental manpower needs.
• Manage third‑party agency relationships and coordinate recruitment campaigns both inside and outside Qatar.
• Source candidates using internal databases, print and web advertisements, and shortlist suitable applicants for line managers.
• Conduct competency‑based interviews, reference checks, and negotiate offer contracts.
• Supervise a small support team to ensure an efficient recruitment process.
• Prepare competency‑based interview questions and facilitate assessment centres.

Required profile

• High school diploma, vocational qualification, or equivalent diploma.
• Experience in full‑cycle recruitment, preferably within a large organization.
• Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with line managers and external agencies.
