Retail Coordinator

About the role

The Retail Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of the patisserie and cake shop, ensuring smooth service for hotel guests and walk‑in customers while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily patisserie operations, handling cake, pastry, dessert and customized cake orders.
• Work with the Pastry Chef and production team to meet guest specifications and delivery timelines.
• Maintain product knowledge, recommend items, and drive sales through upselling and cross‑selling.
• Ensure displays, counters and cabinets meet exceptional presentation standards.
• Monitor product freshness, labeling, expiry dates and maintain accurate order records.
• Process sales transactions via POS system and follow cash‑handling procedures.
• Assist with stock checks, replenish products and packaging materials.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Concierge, Events and Sales for special‑event requirements.
• Support promotional campaigns, new product launches and special patisserie events.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene, health and safety standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems for sales processing.
• Cash‑handling procedures and accurate transaction recording.
• Stock management and inventory replenishment.
