Road Foreman

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is looking for an experienced Road Foreman to supervise road construction and maintenance activities at site in Doha. The foreman manages manpower, equipment, materials and daily site activities so that work is completed safely, on time and to project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise road construction, excavation, grading, backfilling, compaction, asphalt and reinstatement works.
• Allocate daily tasks to workers, operators and subcontractors.
• Ensure work follows approved drawings, method statements and project specifications.
• Monitor site progress and report daily work status to the site engineer or supervisor.
• Coordinate with site engineers, surveyors, QA/QC, HSE and other construction teams.
• Check levels, alignment, road layers, compaction and surface preparation before further work.
• Maintain safety standards, enforce PPE and HSE requirements, conduct toolbox talks and ensure good housekeeping.
• Support inspections and resolve minor site issues during execution.

Required profile

• Relevant experience as Road Foreman in road works, infrastructure or civil construction projects.
• Good knowledge of road construction methods, asphalt works, subgrade, sub-base, base course and compaction.
• Ability to read basic drawings and follow site instructions.
• Strong manpower handling and site coordination skills.
• Knowledge of HSE procedures and safe work practices.
• Locally available candidates with immediate joining are preferred.
