Sales Consultant – Automotive

About the role

The Sales Consultant will drive vehicle sales by delivering exceptional customer service, understanding client needs, and guiding them through the complete sales journey from inquiry to delivery. This position requires strong product knowledge, negotiation ability, and a focus on building lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist walk‑in and prospective customers in a professional manner.
• Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable vehicles within their budget.
• Conduct detailed vehicle presentations, highlighting features, specifications, benefits, and options.
• Arrange and supervise test drives following company procedures.
• Follow up leads, convert prospects into sales, and achieve monthly and annual targets.
• Generate new leads through referrals, networking, corporate visits, and events.
• Prepare quotations, sales proposals, and vehicle specifications.
• Explain pricing, promotions, financing, insurance, and related services.
• Negotiate sales within approved policies and ensure accurate documentation.
• Coordinate with finance, registration, insurance, and delivery teams for seamless transactions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer and sales records in the CRM system.
• Conduct post‑delivery follow‑ups to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
