Sales Engineer - Heat Transfer & Process Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Engineer with a strong engineering background to drive sales of heat‑transfer and process equipment across key industrial sectors in Qatar. The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to identify new opportunities, support customers with tailored solutions, and grow our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in target sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Power Generation, Utilities, Water Treatment, Heavy Industry and Process Industry.
• Promote and sell a portfolio of heat exchangers, boilers, pressure vessels, cooling towers, fans, compressors and related mechanical packages.
• Engage with clients to understand technical requirements, prepare proposals, commercial quotations and tender documentation.
• Review customer specifications, engineering drawings and project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations and commercial teams to develop competitive solutions.
• Negotiate commercial terms and support contract finalisation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants and EPC contractors.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging opportunities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.

Required profile

• 2–6 years of experience as a Sales Engineer in industrial or engineering environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering.
• Proven experience selling industrial equipment or engineered solutions within at least one of the listed sectors.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Knowledge of Plate Heat Exchangers (PHE) and Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers.
• Experience with Air‑Cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHE) and other heat‑exchanger types.
• Understanding of Boilers, Waste Heat Boilers (WHB) and Pressure Vessels.
• Familiarity with Air Coolers, Cooling Towers, Industrial Fans and Blowers.
• Competence in Compressors, Industrial Burners and Fired Heaters.
• Awareness of Static Equipment and Mechanical Packages.
