Sales Engineer – Heavy Equipment Division

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join our Heavy Equipment Division in Qatar. The successful candidate will drive profitable sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and delivering tailored equipment solutions across construction, industrial, infrastructure, and logistics sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across construction, industrial, infrastructure, logistics and related sectors.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective customers through visits, technical discussions, site surveys and application assessments.
• Prepare technical submissions, quotations, tender responses and commercial proposals, and negotiate pricing and terms within approved limits.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and project developments, maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and records.
• Coordinate with service, parts, logistics, finance and suppliers to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 4–6 years of sales experience in lifting equipment, transportation solutions, heavy equipment or related engineered products, preferably in the Qatar market.
• Proven experience in technical sales, project follow‑up, quotation preparation and commercial negotiations.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills with a customer‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience using CRM/ERP based sales reporting tools.
