SAP DBM / VMS Consultant

About the role

Starlink Qatar is seeking an experienced SAP DBM / VMS Consultant to configure, support, and enhance SAP Dealer Business Management and Vehicle Management System solutions for automotive operations.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and support SAP DBM and VMS processes covering vehicle sales, service, parts, and warranty management.
• Customize vehicle master data, status management, procurement, and warranty claim workflows.
• Integrate DBM/VMS with core SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, and CRM.
• Gather business requirements, conduct fit‑gap analysis, and produce functional specifications.
• Collaborate with ABAP and technical teams on enhancements, reports, interfaces, and forms.
• Provide day‑to‑day production support, incident troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis.
• Support testing phases, cut‑over activities, and go‑live support.
• Prepare functional documentation, configuration guides, and training materials for end users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP DBM/VMS implementation or support.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA, preferably with automotive add‑ons.
• Strong understanding of automotive dealer processes (sales, after‑sales, parts, warranty).
• Proven ability to work with business stakeholders and cross‑functional technical teams.
