Security Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for a Security Team Leader to join our hotel’s safety and security team. In this role you will oversee the protection of guests, staff and property while ensuring compliance with health‑and‑safety standards across all hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Audit daily operations to identify unsafe behaviours and regulatory breaches.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans to mitigate hazards.
• Inspect equipment and processes, order repairs, and oversee preventive maintenance.
• Prepare analytical safety reports and present findings to management.
• Lead safety training sessions, briefings and continuous‑education programmes for staff.
• Investigate accidents, liaise with law‑enforcement agencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor staff compliance with health‑and‑safety policies and advise on recognitions or disciplinary measures.
• Recruit, train and mentor new HSE team members, ensuring proper onboarding.

Required profile

• Strong commitment to hospitality values such as integrity, teamwork and ownership.
• Proven leadership ability and experience in security or health‑and‑safety environments.
• Excellent communication skills for delivering training and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with managers, staff and external investigators.
