Senior Civil & Steel Structure Engineer

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a Senior Civil & Steel Structure Engineer in Doha. The engineer leads civil and steel structure quality inspections, contractor surveillance, testing activities, documentation review and compliance monitoring on projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil and steel structure inspection activities at site.
• Review and approve contractor ITPs, method statements, inspection records and test certificates.
• Supervise quality audits, surveillance inspections and testing activities.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, project procedures and international standards.
• Review NCRs, corrective actions and senior-level inspection reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in large oil & gas / petrochemical civil works.
• Strong experience in civil construction, steel structures, foundations, roads, buildings, fireproofing and quality inspection.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of international codes and standards.
• Knowledge of QA/QC systems and ISO requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
