Senior Cybersecurity Accreditation Auditor

About the role

The Senior Cybersecurity Accreditation Auditor leads the delivery of accreditation services, ensuring that third‑party assessments are fair, consistent and objective. This role evaluates compliance with national and international cybersecurity standards and manages the full accreditation lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct day‑to‑day accreditation services and manage national accreditation scheme applications.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records of all accreditation activities.
• Ensure competence, impartiality and consistency across all assessments.
• Perform periodic surveillance assessments on third parties to monitor compliance.
• Document observations and findings with clear, traceable evidence.
• Develop and maintain accreditation procedures, tools and measurement mechanisms aligned with national frameworks.
• Stay current with emerging threats, standards and technology to keep the accreditation process relevant.
• Manage external communication from application receipt to decision issuance and act as escalation point for accreditation issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in information security, risk assessment or assurance.
• Hands‑on experience in security auditing, accreditation or cybersecurity management.
• Preferred certifications: NIA Certified Auditor, CISSP, CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.
• Strong knowledge of national cyber‑security standards (NIA, CSF) and relevant local regulations.
