Senior Electrical Engineer – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead studies, development and planning of electrical infrastructure projects within the Industrial Cities Directorate, ensuring capacity for current and future asset operators and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Perform feasibility studies, develop concepts and plan infrastructure projects for ports and industrial zones.
• Provide guidance and support to asset operators and business partners on shared electrical facilities.
• Coordinate with QatarEnergy Surface Development, KAHRAMAA and other stakeholders to identify synergy opportunities.
• Prepare conceptual studies, development plans, engineering designs and project execution plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in design, engineering and construction of major electrical infrastructure in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors.
• Experience in project lifecycle management and strong supervisory skills.
• International exposure with cultural sensitivity.
• Recognized Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
