Senior Engineer - Apex Support

About the role

Malomatia is seeking a Senior Engineer to provide expert support for Oracle APEX applications. You will ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of mission‑critical web applications used across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of Oracle APEX applications and associated databases, including configuration, access management, and health checks.
• Monitor application workflows and data processes to maintain accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents and problems in line with SLA commitments, collaborating with L3 technical teams when needed.
• Provide end‑user support for application access, functionality, and reporting issues.
• Implement application updates, performance tuning, and configuration changes to enhance system efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred).
• 4–6+ years of experience supporting Oracle applications, preferably in an Oracle APEX environment.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management) and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to support end users effectively.
