Senior Lawyer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lawyer to join our legal team in Doha, Qatar. The role involves providing comprehensive legal support across civil, commercial, and criminal matters while ensuring compliance with Qatari laws and court procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of attorneys, delegating tasks and overseeing case progress.
• Handle civil, commercial, and criminal cases from inception to resolution.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and pleadings.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks, regulatory requirements, and strategic decisions.
• Represent the organization in Qatari courts and liaise with external counsel.

Required profile

• Minimum 8–10 years of overall legal experience, or at least 5 years in Qatar combined with 4 years in another GCC country.
• Strong knowledge of Qatari laws, regulations, and court procedures.
• Proven ability to manage and mentor a team of lawyers.
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice before Qatari courts.
• Fluent in English and Arabic with a valid QID.
• Available to join immediately or with a short notice period.
