Senior Legal Manager – International Infrastructure Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Legal Manager to provide comprehensive legal support for large‑scale pipeline, industrial and infrastructure projects across the CIS region. Based in Doha, Qatar, you will work under the Legal Director and collaborate with project, commercial, procurement, finance and executive teams on contracts governed by English law.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and administer construction, EPC, purchase order, supply and subcontractor agreements.
• Manage the full contract lifecycle from tender to project close‑out, including amendments and extensions.
• Handle contractual claims, disputes, variations, change orders and other project‑related legal matters.
• Identify commercial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support negotiations with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to project, commercial, procurement and finance teams.
• Prepare and maintain corporate documentation for international group entities and support cross‑border transactions.
• Conduct legal due diligence and KYC reviews for counterparties.
• Ensure compliance with English law principles and international contracting standards.
• Coordinate with external counsel on disputes and jurisdiction‑specific issues.
• Develop and maintain legal templates, internal policies and contract governance procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of post‑qualification legal experience, preferably in construction and infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience with EPC contracts and large‑scale procurement agreements.
• Strong knowledge of English law and common‑law contractual principles.
• Professional fluency in English and Russian.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to relocate to Doha and travel regionally as needed.
