Senior Manager – Safety

About the role

The Senior Manager – Safety will support QNB’s Safety team in delivering a comprehensive safety programme across all group assets, properties and staff. This role involves conducting inspections, delivering safety training and ensuring that safety systems and procedures meet the bank’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing departmental safety programmes and monitoring KPIs.
• Carry out safety inspections and lead training sessions for employees.
• Manage the operation of safety systems to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and oversee relationships with external safety service providers.
• Provide safety services to all QNB departments and respond to internal customer queries.
• Maintain service level agreements and deliver accurate data to auditors, compliance, financial control and risk teams.
• Promote cost‑consciousness, efficiency and continuous improvement in safety processes.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in safety management within a large organization.
• Ability to act within delegated authority and ensure all premises are safe.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, both internal and external.
• Customer‑focused mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and provide solutions.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
