Senior Microsoft API Management Expert

About the role

Microsystems L.L.C. is seeking a Senior Microsoft API Management Expert to design, implement, secure and support enterprise‑wide API and integration solutions on Azure API Management (APIM). The role will ensure reliable API delivery, robust governance and seamless integration across client systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design API‑driven integration architectures and enterprise‑scale Azure solutions.
• Configure and manage Azure API Management policies, gateways, security, versioning, throttling and lifecycle processes.
• Develop and support REST and SOAP APIs using JSON and industry‑standard integration patterns.
• Implement API security with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT and Azure AD.
• Utilise Azure Functions, Logic Apps and other Azure integration services to build workflows.
• Translate business requirements into effective APIs and integration workflows.
• Monitor API performance, troubleshoot issues and optimise reliability.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders and clients; conduct workshops and produce clear documentation.
• Support automated deployments through DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise integration and API solutions, with strong hands‑on expertise in Azure API Management.
• Proven solution‑architecture skills for API‑driven integration patterns and large‑scale Microsoft Azure environments.
• Consulting experience with the ability to understand client needs and translate them into technical recommendations.
