Senior Project Engineer - Onshore

About the role

Worley is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead onshore engineering projects within the oil & gas sector. The role involves managing design, technical evaluations, and client interactions to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and contractors, proactively resolving performance, scope, cost and schedule issues.
• Monitor design activities, interdisciplinary data flow and communications, and manage design basis and scopes.
• Lead technical evaluations, risk identification, mitigation, project deliverables review, scope control and variation management.
• Prepare project scope statements, conduct design reviews and secure client approvals without delay.
• Maintain HSE focus, ensuring compliance with OHSE requirements and promoting best safety practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• MME engineering accreditation (or willingness to obtain during probation).
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status is an advantage.
• Extensive senior‑level experience on onshore oil & gas projects, including Pre‑FEED and FEED phases.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, statutory authorities and international engineering consultancies, preferably in the Middle East.

Required skills

• Strong engineering planning and interface management capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage project scope, budget and schedule in brownfield environments.
