Senior Software Engineer – Oracle BRM, PDC, OCOMC & BI Publisher

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) to join a leading telecom operator in Qatar. The role focuses on upgrading and customizing BSS applications in cloud‑native environments and ensuring seamless billing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and customize BRM Opcodes, MTA applications and scripting using Unix and Perl.
• Upgrade BRM, PDC, OCOMC and BI Publisher from version 12 to 15 in Kubernetes/Helm environments.
• Implement and support product catalog, pricing, discount and bundle configurations.
• Manage bill cycle runs, troubleshoot rating/discount issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Configure GLID, tax settings and validate billing results using SQL.
• Plan and execute BRM environment installations, schema upgrades and post‑upgrade verification.
• Deploy pricing changes from PDC to BRM/Pipeline and ensure catalog consistency.
• Configure and support OCOMC mediation flows for voice, SMS, data and roaming usage.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle BRM 12.x and 15.x components.
• Proven track record of BSS upgrades in cloud‑native (Kubernetes) environments.
• Solid understanding of telecom billing processes and revenue assurance.
• Ability to work independently and lead complex upgrade projects.
