Senior Structural Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer with at least 8 years of experience to lead structural design, coordination and site construction for high‑end residential villas, commercial buildings and high‑rise projects in Qatar.

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate structural and architectural drawings, specifications and construction details.
• Conduct site inspections ensuring compliance with approved drawings, Qatar regulations and engineering codes.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs and technical documentation.
• Resolve site‑related technical issues and coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects and MEP teams.
• Monitor construction quality, workmanship, progress and structural‑architectural coordination.
• Provide technical guidance, prepare inspection reports and project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Strong hands‑on site and construction experience in residential villas, commercial buildings or high‑rise projects.
• Good knowledge of Qatar construction regulations and international engineering standards.
• Valid Qatar ID (QID) and UPDA/MMUP certification.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Revit and structural design software (advantage).
