Senior Trading Project Manager (Contractor)

About the role

Airswift is seeking a Senior Trading Project Manager on a contract basis to lead medium to large‑scale IT projects that support its trading operations. You will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver new solutions or transform existing applications within defined timelines and compliance frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end IT projects for trading solutions, ensuring scope, schedule and budget are met.
• Coordinate procurement activities and manage contracts related to project delivery.
• Engage with stakeholders to capture business needs, evaluate solution options and document decisions.
• Apply security procedures and standards to protect project environments and address vulnerabilities.
• Follow governance, risk and compliance processes to mitigate project risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Petroleum & Energy or related field; MBA preferred.
• International project‑management certification (e.g., PMP) and ITIL knowledge are advantageous.
• Minimum 9 years of progressive IT project‑management experience, specifically with trading solutions.
• Strong understanding of the Oil & Gas sector and trading technologies (C/E‑TRM, fleet management, market analytics).
• Hands‑on experience with both Waterfall and Agile SDLC methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage contracts and commercial aspects of projects.
