Senior Treasury Analyst – Cash Management

About the role

The Senior Treasury Analyst will coordinate and analyse financial forecasts to support funding, investment decisions and liquidity management for QatarEnergy LNG's joint venture operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and compile sales revenue and expense forecasts from Commercial, Shipping, Project Accounting and other teams to prepare joint‑venture cash‑flow forecasts.
• Maintain and monitor cash‑flow liquidity forecasts against actual bank transactions, ensuring cash availability for internal funding and major payments.
• Implement investment strategy by analysing cash‑flow trends, proposing investments and ensuring sufficient liquidity for daily demands.
• Prepare monthly shareholder distribution calculations while respecting lender agreements and cash‑waterfall principles.
• Conduct balance‑sheet reconciliations, asset‑level financial forecasts, variance analysis and annual bank‑account reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline.
• Professional finance qualification (CFA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CMA) is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury or finance functions.
• Ability to interpret legal terms in JVAs, loan and account agreements.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of financial forecasting and budgeting.
• Experience with financial systems and cash‑flow analysis.
• Ability to identify and investigate financial discrepancies.
