Senior Windows System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Windows System Administrator to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure. You will manage Windows servers, Active Directory, virtualization, and storage while supporting end‑users and maintaining business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user accounts.
• Perform installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades of hardware, OS, and software.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; resolve issues proactively.
• Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and related infrastructure.
• Develop PowerShell automation scripts to streamline administration tasks.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, patch management, and system hardening.
• Support cloud and hybrid environments such as Azure AD and Microsoft 365.
• Coordinate hardware upgrades, work with vendors, and maintain accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional certifications preferred (Microsoft Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, MCSE, VCP, CompTIA Server+/Security+).
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Windows System Administrator or similar role.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain secure, resilient IT infrastructure.

• Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 administration.
• Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, File/Print Services.
• Virtualization technologies: VMware, Hyper‑V.
• Backup solutions: Symantec NetBackup, Veeam.
• Storage systems: SAN, NAS, iSCSI.
• PowerShell scripting and automation.
• System monitoring, performance tuning, patch management.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VPN, LAN/WAN.
• Security practices: system hardening, endpoint protection, auditing.
• Exposure to Azure AD, Microsoft 365 (cloud/hybrid environments).
