Service Operator I – Slickline (Entry Level)

About the role

Join Halliburton’s oilfield services team in Qatar as a Service Operator I, supporting slickline operations at well sites. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience with equipment preparation, field service execution, and post‑job maintenance while working under the guidance of a Service Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Supervisor throughout all phases of slickline service delivery.
• Prepare and test equipment before mobilization, and support service performance on‑site.
• Handle post‑job clean‑up, equipment repair, and readiness for the next operation.
• Repair and redress well pressure control equipment.
• Document processes according to Halliburton Management System (HMS) requirements.
• Apply all relevant HSE policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic mathematical, reading, and writing abilities.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Willingness to develop technical knowledge and advance to a Service Specialist role.

Required skills

• Knowledge of slickline tools and related products.
• WPCE operation and maintenance.
• Understanding of engine, drive‑train, and hydraulic systems.
• Minor unit maintenance capabilities.
• Process documentation skills.
• Basic computer skills.
