About the role
The facilities management company is looking for a Solid Waste Collection Supervisor to lead daily waste collection activities in Doha. The role ensures efficient service delivery while complying with health, safety and environmental standards.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate waste collection crews.
- Plan and optimise daily collection routes and schedules.
- Monitor utilisation of vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure adherence to waste management procedures and HSE requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare operational reports.
- Promote safe working practices among staff.
- Liaise with clients to confirm service delivery expectations.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years experience in solid waste collection or municipal waste management.
- Previous supervisory or team‑lead experience.
- Strong knowledge of waste collection operations and HSE regulations.
- Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
- Relevant qualification in Waste Management, Environmental studies or similar (preferred).
- Valid HSE certification and Qatar Driving Licence (preferred).
