Specialist Ophthalmologist

About the role

KIMS Holding Company B.S.C (C), a leading healthcare provider in Qatar, is hiring a Specialist/ Ophthalmologist for its KIMSHEALTH Medical Center in Meshaf, Doha. This is a full-time, on-site, permanent position for a highly skilled clinician with strong clinical and surgical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose and treat eye diseases and conditions
• Perform surgical procedures such as cataract surgery, LASIK and other refractive surgeries
• Prescribe and administer medications, eye drops and other treatments
• Monitor and manage patients with chronic eye conditions
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Keep up to date with ophthalmology advances and take part in continuing education
• Maintain accurate medical records and follow medical and ethical standards

Required profile

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Ophthalmology
• Valid license to practice in Qatar
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Specialist/ Ophthalmologist
• Fluent English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
