STP Operator

About the role

Madre Integrated Engineering is hiring a full-time STP Operator in Doha within the oil and gas sector. The operator runs and monitors wastewater treatment equipment and processes to keep them safe, efficient and running continuously.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor STP equipment and processes to ensure safe, efficient and continuous wastewater treatment.
• Carry out routine inspections, readings and sampling, record operational data and report abnormalities.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting, and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team.
• Handle chemicals safely, maintain housekeeping and comply with HSE and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs, checklists and shift handover records.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in wastewater treatment, mechanical, electrical or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in STP or wastewater treatment operations.
• Awareness of HSE, environmental compliance and safe chemical handling.
• Ability to work shifts and complete records accurately.

Required skills

• Knowledge of STP processes, pumps and blowers.
• Basic knowledge of chemical dosing and maintenance.
