Technical Clerk – Offshore Operations

About the role

Saipem is seeking a Technical Clerk to join the Offshore Operations – Hook‑up Department within Logistics & Personnel Coordination. You will support crew change planning, personnel mobilization, and administrative coordination to ensure smooth offshore operations and compliance with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end crew mobilization and demobilization, including travel, visas, and accommodations.
• Maintain and update personnel tracking systems and documentation with high accuracy.
• Liaise with internal departments (HR, Logistics, Operations) and external vendors such as travel agencies and immigration authorities.
• Ensure timely crew rotations aligned with project schedules and operational needs.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, international regulations, and client requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Maritime Studies or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Technical Clerk, Crew Officer or Logistics Assistant in offshore oil & gas, maritime or construction environments.
• Proficient English (mandatory) and willingness to travel within the Middle East and offshore locations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with crew management or HR systems such as SAP, crew planning tools, or 3VM.
• Knowledge of visa processing, immigration procedures and offshore certification requirements.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
