Technical Team Lead

About the role

Avanceon is looking for an experienced Technical Team Lead to head a development team in its Qatar office. The role focuses on delivering enterprise software solutions for Industrial Automation, Smart City, GIS, and Digital Transformation projects using .NET and React technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and allocate tasks to a team of developers, ensuring sprint goals are met.
• Participate in effort estimation, sprint planning, backlog grooming and release planning.
• Design, develop and maintain applications with C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET, ReactJS, REST APIs and SQL Server.
• Conduct technical design reviews, code reviews and troubleshoot issues.
• Drive Agile and Scrum practices, managing sprint activities in JIRA.
• Coordinate with GIS, SCADA, Database, BI and client integration teams.
• Utilise AI‑assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to improve coding, testing and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of software development experience.
• At least 2 years of experience leading software development teams.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in .NET, C#, ReactJS and SQL Server.
• Proven experience with Agile/Scrum, JIRA and GitHub.
