Tendering Manager – EPC/EPIC Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Estimation & Tendering Manager to lead end‑to‑end tendering activities for high‑value EPC/EPIC projects in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure and MEP sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all estimation, tendering and proposal activities, ensuring competitive pricing and accurate cost assessments.
• Review ITBs, RFQs and tender documents to identify client requirements, project scope and commercial risks.
• Prepare and review cost estimates covering materials, manpower, subcontractors, equipment and execution.
• Coordinate with technical, commercial, procurement and project teams to develop winning proposals.
• Manage multidisciplinary tenders from assessment through submission and post‑tender negotiations.
• Monitor tender results, maintain registers and report performance to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience, including at least 7 years in a senior estimation or tendering role.
• Proven track record managing large‑scale tenders valued at QAR 100 million or more, preferably in Qatar or the GCC.
• Strong background in EPC/EPIC contracting environments, especially Oil & Gas and Energy projects.

Required skills

• Cost estimation and budgeting for EPC/EPIC projects.
• Tender management and proposal development.
• Knowledge of lump‑sum/LSTK, unit‑rate, reimbursable and subcontracting commercial models.
• Leadership, negotiation and analytical abilities.
