Time Keeper – Workforce Attendance & Payroll Coordinator

About the role

The Time Keeper is responsible for accurately recording workforce attendance, working hours, overtime, and leave across construction sites. This role ensures timely payroll processing and provides reliable manpower reports to support project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily attendance for employees, laborers, and subcontractors.
• Maintain accurate records of regular hours, overtime, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Prepare and submit daily manpower reports to site management.
• Verify timesheets against attendance records and supervisor approvals.
• Coordinate with supervisors to resolve attendance discrepancies.
• Maintain leave, absence, sick leave, and shift schedule records.
• Submit attendance data to payroll within required deadlines.
• Monitor manpower allocation across work locations and activities.
• Generate weekly and monthly attendance and manpower reports.
• Support internal and external audits by providing attendance documentation.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; Business Administration diploma is a plus.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Time Keeper in construction, engineering, or industrial projects.
• Experience managing large workforces and subcontractors.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of timekeeping and payroll systems.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
