Treasury & Transactions Director / Senior Manager, Global Fund

About the role

A well-capitalised investment firm based in Doha, Qatar is recruiting a Treasury & Transactions Senior Manager / Director for its finance team. The role focuses on managing treasury, liquidity and funding, acts as finance lead on new investment decisions, offers close collaboration with the CFO and the chance to manage a small team. It is based in Doha.

Key responsibilities

• Manage banking relationships, deposits and cash flow forecasting
• Secure funding and maintain liquidity across the group
• Act as finance lead on new investments and deal structuring
• Support portfolio companies, including valuations and exits
• Oversee new company and investment platform set-ups
• Work closely with the CFO and support board committees

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA) with a finance or accounting degree
• Senior-level experience, including Big 4 audit
• Background in transactions, M&A, tax and budgeting
• Experience managing a small team and advising senior management

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of IFRS, tax planning and corporate structures
• Highly analytical, with strong communication and presentation skills
