About the role
Qatar Airways is looking for an Upholsterer to join its MRO team in the workshops in Doha. The role covers fabricating and recovering aircraft component furnishings, working within acceptable timeframes and to company quality and standards.
Key responsibilities
- Fabricate and recover aircraft component furnishings.
- Carry out tasks within an acceptable timeframe and in line with company quality and standards.
- Ensure airworthiness and safety compliance, including manufacturer recommendations.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (EASA/QCAA Part 145) while performing component maintenance.
Required profile
- High school or Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 2 years of job-related experience.
- Previous upholstery work experience.
Required skills
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment or tooling related to the work area.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance, operation and proper handling.
