About the role

Ibis and Adagio Doha, a multi-branded hotel complex of 306 rooms and serviced apartments, is hiring a waiter or waitress for its restaurant, Charlie's Corner, which serves Italian, Asian, Arabic and Indian cuisine, handcrafted artisanal pizzas and burgers. You will be an ambassador of the food and beverage experience, welcoming guests warmly and serving them with knowledge of the menu.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome all guests approaching the restaurant to the highest standard.
• Handle and serve guests efficiently, with flair and courtesy.
• Know the food and beverage menu and allergens, recommend combinations and upsell alternatives.
• Upsell hotel promotions, especially in food and beverage.
• Help other team members keep the whole cluster clean.
• Be flexible and take on other reasonable duties, including redeployment to other departments if needed.
• Handle cashier duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous hotel or restaurant experience is an advantage.
• Ability to focus on guest needs and stay calm and courteous.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
