About the role
Qatar Shipyard Technology Solutions is seeking a Work Preparator for its Piping Department. The role involves preparing and documenting piping work using AutoCAD and ensuring technical drawings meet shipyard standards. The successful candidate will work onsite in Doha, collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of piping documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed technical drawings for piping systems.
- Create and maintain work documentation for all piping projects.
- Coordinate with engineering staff to incorporate design changes.
- Ensure compliance with shipyard standards and safety regulations.
Required profile
- High school or vocational diploma in a relevant trade.
- 3–4 years of shipyard or ship repair experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
