Workshop Supervisor – Automotive Aftersales

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead daily repair and maintenance operations in its Qatar automotive aftersales business. Reporting to the Service Manager, the role focuses on maximizing workshop efficiency, driving technician productivity, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily workshop operations, capacity planning, job allocation and workshop utilization.
• Monitor technician productivity, time booking and work‑in‑progress to meet operational KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security and dealership standards while driving “Fix It Right First Time” quality initiatives.
• Coach, motivate and develop technicians through performance reviews, training plans and certification programs.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors to identify additional repair requirements and support revenue growth.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of automotive dealership experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Bachelor’s, Diploma or ITI qualification in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Strong leadership, analytical and people‑management abilities with high integrity and accountability.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP and workshop management systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong diagnostic and automotive technical knowledge.
