Application Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an Application Engineer to join a leading industrial manufacturing company in Qatar. The role focuses on providing technical expertise for air handling unit (AHU) selection and supporting HVAC projects from concept through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support AHU selection and deliver technical recommendations based on project requirements.
• Review specifications, drawings, and technical documents to ensure appropriate equipment solutions.
• Prepare technical submittals, quotations, and compliance documentation.
• Provide technical support to sales teams, customers, consultants, and contractors.
• Coordinate with internal teams to guarantee accurate and timely project support.
• Assist with technical queries and address customer requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC application engineering, preferably with air handling units.
• Proven experience working with HVAC consultants, contractors, and MEP projects.
• Strong communication and customer‑facing abilities.
• Availability for face‑to‑face interviews in Qatar.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of HVAC design principles and air distribution systems.
• Ability to read and interpret HVAC drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Experience preparing technical submittals, quotations and compliance documents.
• Proficiency in equipment selection for air handling units.
