NACE Level 3 Coating Paint Inspector

About the role

Palfinger Marine is seeking an experienced NACE Level 3 Coating Paint Inspector to supervise and verify blasting and coating works on offshore projects. You will ensure all activities meet project specifications, international standards and Palfinger HSE procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and verify all blasting and coating operations onboard.
• Conduct inspections for surface cleanliness, environmental monitoring, dry film thickness (DFT) checks, and adhesion testing.
• Prepare daily inspection reports, non‑conformance reports and final coating dossiers.
• Review coating material data sheets, batch certificates and inspection and test plans (ITPs).
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams and mentor junior inspectors.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, NACE, SSPC, ASTM standards and client HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Mandatory NACE Level 3 Certification.
• Minimum 8 years of coating inspection experience, preferably in offshore oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of protective coatings, corrosion control and related standards.
• Valid offshore medical and safety certifications (BOSIET, H2S preferred).
• Transferable visa or immediate mobilization capability.
