Assistant Restaurant Manager – Doha

About the role

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will support the Restaurant Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring smooth daily operations. Based in Doha, the role combines hands‑on service during peak periods with supervisory responsibilities across the front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise food preparation and presentation, guaranteeing quality and adherence to standards.
• Assist during rush hours by greeting guests, taking orders, and coordinating with kitchen and bar staff.
• Enforce hygiene policies and health‑safety regulations throughout the restaurant.
• Address customer complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Monitor daily F&B costs, review budgets with the manager, and take corrective actions to meet targets.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, maintenance checks, shift scheduling, and liaison with purchasing.
• Manage steward performance, tip calculation, and distribution.
• Control inventory, track revenues, and adjust procedures and pricing as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food & Beverage or Hospitality Management, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of F&B experience, including 1–2 years in a managerial capacity.
• Fluent English communication skills.
