Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology

About the role

The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies seeks an Associate Professor to join its Clinical Psychology program. This full‑time position involves teaching, supervising graduate research, and contributing to the institute’s scientific‑practitioner model.

Key responsibilities

• Teach at least two graduate courses, covering clinical assessment, psychopathology, and evidence‑based interventions.
• Deliver lectures and seminars within the program.
• Supervise Master’s, Doctoral theses, capstone projects, and students’ practical training.
• Conduct and publish research in international peer‑reviewed journals.
• Participate in academic and departmental activities.

Required profile

• Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in psychological assessment.
• Proven track record of research and publications in international peer‑reviewed journals.
• Experience conducting individual and group research.
• Demonstrated teaching and supervision experience at the graduate level.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English.
• Licensed to practice clinical psychology in the home country, with professional practice preferably in the Arab region.
